Public Space One (PS1)
PUBLIC SPACE ONE (PS1) is an artist-led, community-driven, contemporary art center. They aim to: -provide an innovative and inclusive space for making/presenting art -produce unique programs that stretch boundaries and present diverse perspectives -provide resources for artists and cultural educational opportunities -advocate for the importance of art in everyday life for any and everyone. InterDance produced Iowa Dance Festival in collaboration with PS1 for the event "Cx3: Contemporary Creative Community". The event brought dancers, musicians, performance artists, and visual artists together to create an art installation tour throughout the PS1 center. |

THE ARTIFACTORY
The mission of The ArtiFactory is to create a place in Iowa City for education, practice, exhibition, and collaboration in fine arts and crafts. In collaboration, we created "Dance in the Alley"; an afternoon with performances, talks, and audience participation in the alley by the ArtiFactory. Performances included: Disco Intervention, Improvisation, Near Eastern Dance, and Social Argentine Tango. The ArtiFactory and InterDance are excited to bring this event back in 2023! |

ANY GIVEN CHILD
Americans for the Arts envisions a country where everyone has access to—and takes part in—high quality and lifelong learning experiences in the arts, both in school and in the community. Any Given Child Iowa City, a program of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, uses local arts resources to provide equitable access to diverse, interactive, and inspiring arts experiences during the school day for every K-8 student in the Iowa City Community School District. InterDance is excited to be working with Any Given Child Iowa City, bringing dance experiences to the area schools! |

SUMMER OF THE ARTS
The mission of the Summer of the Arts’ is to build community by bringing people together in the heart of Iowa City to experience, learn about, and enjoy free arts and cultural programs. Since 2009 the collaboration between InterDance and Summer of the Arts has taken many different forms, including the creation of dance programs around town and the presentation of Iowa Dance Festival excerpts at various Arts Festivals. SotA has regularly provided technical equipment such as sound systems for our projects and consistent support in brainstorming and promotional strategies. They have been a great community partner and an invaluable resource for our organization. Find out more here |

IOWA CITY DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION
InterDance, in collaboration with area artists, has staged numerous successful events in downtown Iowa City, including the Iowa Dance Festival, Flash Mobs, Art Installations, ScreenDance, Ped Mall dance presentations by professional dancers as well as High School students, SWAN (Support Women Artists Now) Day art events and more. “The Iowa City Downtown District provides vision, leadership, and influence on a range of issues impacting downtown including fostering welcoming public spaces.” In this regard, InterDance has benefited greatly from brainstorming and creative conversations with the ICDD Staff.
